2008 WEPAN National Conference About the Conference
WEPAN’s National Conference is recognized as a thriving forum for research, practical exchange, and targeted policy-level dialogue all focused on accelerating success in attracting, educating and retaining women in engineering, in both academic and corporate settings. WEPAN’s conference provides a congenial gathering with numerous opportunities for networking and professional exchange about program and professional development. Through group discussions and plenary sessions, conference participants share calls to action, lessons learned, partnerships forged, and new ideas. WEPAN’s mission is to be a catalyst, advocate and national resource for institutional change leading to the full participation of women in engineering.
