"The Women in Engineering Program at The University of Texas at Austin, a WEPAN Institutional Member since 1995, connects with more than 1,400 pre-college girls and 1,200 engineering students annually. Using best practices and research gained through participation in WEPAN conferences and WEPAN’s collaborative and supportive network has helped our faculty, staff and administrators work together to improve our two-year retention of female students from 29% to 71% since 1991”.
