Proposals are now being accepted for the WEPAN 2016 Change Leader Forum taking place June 14-16, 2016, in Broomfield, CO. Inclusion and diversity change leaders from across the nation will share, learn and network with fellow change leaders.
WEPAN invites proposals from STEM, Education and Social Sciences fields on research-based best practices and initiatives that advance cultures of inclusion and diversity so that ALL in engineering can thrive.
Five Proposal Formats
WEPAN invites proposals in the formats of Workshops, Panels, Hi-Fives for Change Talks, Focused Conversations and Showcase Poster Presentations.
Submissions in each of these session formats should align with one of the following four distinct tracks:
- Roles for Diversity Programs in Engineering Culture Change
- Corporate and University Inclusion Initiatives
- Women of Color and White Women in Healthy, Equitable, Engineering Environments
- Activating the Dean's Pledge: Moving Toward Academic Culture Change

Timeline for Submission
December 1, 2015 – January 29, 2016: OCS open for proposal submission.
January 20, 2016 – February 17, 2016: Review of Proposals
February 18, 2016: Notices on Proposals to Submitter
March 1, 2016: Revised Proposals due (If you were not asked to revise your proposal, you are not required to submit a revised version.)
