Shawna Fletcher is currently the Interim Director for the Women in Engineering Program at The Ohio State University. Since 2012, she has served as WEPAN Professional Development Committee Chair to produce webinars for members. Shawna has over 15 years of experience in the engineering education arena, both in K-12 outreach and working to recruit, retain, and place underrepresented students in engineering. She has previously worked for Arizona State University’s Women in Applied Science and Engineering (WISE) Program and is a charter member of the Arizona Promoters of Applied Science in Education (APASE), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. She is the current advisor to the OSU Underwater ROV team, OSU’s Supermileage team and OSU's FIRST robotics student volunteer outreach efforts. Shawna holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Physiological Psychology with minors in Chemistry and Women's Studies. She also has a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from Arizona State University.
