Glenda P. La Rue
Chief Strategy Officer
Glenda’s career includes a balanced combination of industry, higher education administration, and non-profit management experience. Prior to joining WEPAN’s staff in 2014, Glenda directed STEM and diversity programs for The Citadel and The Ohio State University's College of Engineering. Prior to her transition into higher education, she practiced water resources engineering as a licensed professional engineer in both the public and private sectors.
Since becoming a WEPAN member in 2004, Glenda has been a passionate advocate for the inclusion of women in engineering. In 2006, she accepted the WEPAN Women in Engineering Program Award in recognition of the initiatives she led at Ohio State to increase participation of girls and women in the field of engineering. Glenda was elected to the WEPAN Board of Directors in 2010, and served as WEPAN President from 2011-2012. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering from Virginia Tech.

Business & Strategic Operations Director
Usha Ramamurthy serves as WEPAN’s Business & Strategic Operations Director. Usha’s professional background is in marketing and operations and she has worked at leading advertising, database marketing, customer care call center, and non-profit organizations across the country. Her professional career spans 25+ years and includes experience with risk management, policy development, and database management.
Usha has her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Sciences from Queens College-CUNY, New York and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She also recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder Engineering Management Program.

C. Diane Matt
Research & Grants Advisor
Recently WEPAN’s full-time Executive Director, Diane now serves in a transitional role as the Research and Grants Advisor. During her twelve years of service to WEPAN, Diane has been an agent of change, spearheading numerous transformational grant-funded projects to help realize WEPAN’s vision of sustainable, systemic inclusion in engineering.
Over the years, Diane has received numerous awards, including the Colorado Society of Association Executives Annual Association Executive Award of Excellence and most recently, the Indiana University Distinguished Alumni Award. She is a geoscientist with B.A. and M.S. degrees from Indiana University and The University of Calgary, respectively.
