WEPAN Professional Development Webinars

WEPAN webinars focus on topics relevant to women in engineering and STEM. Our purpose is to significantly increase knowledge of key issues and encourage all participants to lead implementation of best and promising practices that will advance diverse communities of women in engineering in academic and workplace settings.

WEPAN’s Professional Development and Diversity Advancement Committees take the lead in presenting webinars each year. We welcome your suggestions on topics and presenters! Attend a WEPAN Professional Development and you will be added to our list to receive future webinar notifications.

Women in STEM Knowledge Center

WEPAN manages a second website distinct from called the Women in STEM Knowledge Center (  


With a few clicks in the Women in STEM Knowledge Center, (WSKC) people all over the world can quickly find up-to-date research, findings, and statistics about women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The WSKC  describes, organizes, and makes available this important body of knowledge with more than 1,900 resources, and supports numerous people, organizations, and initiatives in their efforts to increase the participation of women in STEM.

WEPAN members have access to some valuable services from within the WSKC. 

Your login does not extend to the WSKC, but creating a WSKC login is fast and easy.  Just enter your first name, last name and email on the homepage!

ASEE Data Mining Tool

The ASEE Data Mining Tool is a query and report-writing tool for deans of engineering and engineering technology colleges who annually contribute data to ASEE's survey.


Data and Statistics

WEPAN works with the Commission for Professionals in Science and Technology (CPST) in Washington, D.C. to provide data tables in a user-friendly format that is relevant to Women in Engineering. Since it is CPST's business to sell this information, distribution of this information is not permitted. 


WEPAN Slide Portfolio

Presentation slides contain key information about women and URM in engineering, including comparative data on general population. Each slide contains a set of bulleted talking points to assist users in preparing and presenting.
